About Me

In 2007, I gave birth to my daughter and in that same year my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. About 5 years earlier I had sat down with Mom, filmed and interviewed her about her life. That is when “Remember Me Always” really started. As my Mother’s memory fades, and my daughter gets older I have come to cherish the documentary I did about her life. Not only capturing her memories, but the woman she was. The woman I remember. I know first hand how important these films are for a family. I am very passionate about creating a film about you and your loved ones, with the same enthusiasm as I did with mine.

I produced the feature film “Under the Gun.”  I also produced the award winning short “Odessa” starring the late Yolanda King (Martin Luther King Jr’s eldest daughter), which won many awards in the Festival Circuit.

I wrote, directed and edited the PSA “It’s Only Love” that was a Top Ten Finalist in the national GLAAD contest “I Do in 30 Seconds” competition.

I also created the documentary “The Gospel Truth” about my   father’s experiences as a WWII Veteran.

I enjoy the creative process when developing documentaries, family tributes and Media DVDs, because just like people, no two films are ever the same. I consider myself a “Family Archivist”.

Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.  ~From the TV Show                           The Wonder Years
